Decorating with Rose Petals - Ideas and Inspiration from The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company

Confetti Tips and Advice - Decorating with Rose Petals

Rose petals are just so romantic! (

Our pretty petals aren't just for throwing confetti - there are many other uses for petals, at weddings, parties, dinners and celebrations - so we thought we'd share some lovely ideas for decorating your day with Rose Petals.

Our freeze dried and preserved rose petals are ideal for decoration as they are natural, biodegradable, they won't wilt or fade, stain or get slippery underfoot. They are easy to store and are light and easy to work with. Most of all they look beautiful!

Decorating your ceremony and venue

A simple, romantic and very pretty idea is to line your aisle with a scattering of petals or even create a carpet of rose petals.

A lovely way to create the rose petal aisle is to ask your flower girl to scatter the petals as she walks down in front of the bride. It also symbolises a happy path in married life!

Your flower girl will love the job of scattering petals!

Or you could try for something more adventurous! Here are some great ideas...

If your wedding is to be outdoors and summery, why not create some petal pathways to lead your guests to your ceremony and define the spot where you will say your vows...

Delphinium Flower Fields 2012 and The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company's Harvest - good news!

The Confetti Flower Field is currenlty CLOSED.
*Opening dates for 2018 will be announced early in 2018.

News from the Delphinium Flower Fields 2012

You might have seen or heard us in the media recently? The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company's fields of flowers have been getting a bit of publicity for rather sadder reasons than usual - every June and July our 15 acres of delphiniums are a beautiful spectacle that people travel hundreds of miles to see - vivid stripes of colour in the English countryside.

We have had a very poor summer here in Worcestershire and the flowers have got very wet feet - they don't like the rain any more than we do! The lack of sunshine has meant that we haven't been able to pick as many petals as usual, but there is no need to worry. We would like to reassure all Brides & Grooms that we have lots of confetti in stock - our petals keep really well without fading or deteriorating.

As well as our home grown delphiniums and cornflowers we have a beautiful selection of rose petals, hydrangeas, and lavender available. These are all very popular and look really lovely in bridesmaid's baskets and cones - so this year's newly-weds will have plenty of petals for their magical confetti moment.

But lets hope for a sunny summer in 2013!

The sunshine came! Take a look at photos of our fields for 2013 and 2014.
