News from the Delphinium Flower Fields 2012

You might have seen or heard us in the media recently? The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company's fields of flowers have been getting a bit of publicity for rather sadder reasons than usual - every June and July our 15 acres of delphiniums are a beautiful spectacle that people travel hundreds of miles to see - vivid stripes of colour in the English countryside.

We have had a very poor summer here in Worcestershire and the flowers have got very wet feet - they don't like the rain any more than we do! The lack of sunshine has meant that we haven't been able to pick as many petals as usual, but there is no need to worry. We would like to reassure all Brides & Grooms that we have lots of confetti in stock - our petals keep really well without fading or deteriorating.

As well as our home grown delphiniums and cornflowers we have a beautiful selection of rose petals, hydrangeas, and lavender available. These are all very popular and look really lovely in bridesmaid's baskets and cones - so this year's newly-weds will have plenty of petals for their magical confetti moment.

But lets hope for a sunny summer in 2013!

The sunshine came! Take a look at photos of our fields for 2013 and 2014.
